EXTN-205: Externship Prep Seminar II
The seminar includes a discussion of the college's expectations and a full overview of the externship manual assignment. In addition, the CIA's values and the importance of maintaining professionalism are reviewed. A completed training agreement is required. (Pass/No Show grading)

EXTN-250: Externship
The course of Externship is an applied work experience designed to solidify learned fundamental skills and to gain a broader professional understanding of the business of the food industry. Students enrolled in the semester-long course will integrate knowledge and skills learned in the classroom within a professional setting working full-time. Students on externship will receive feedback from their supervisor and submit assignments to record and reflect on their work experience.
