Students should note the following approved changes to programs, courses, and policies, effective 12/1/2025 that occurred after the publication of the 2025-2026 Academic Catalog:
- Added a new course to the Advanced Baking and Pastry Concentration, Sustainable Pastry and Local Foodways (LART-339), to replace Business Planning (MGMT-407)
- Added Advanced Concepts in Baking and Pastry Concentration option to Applied Food Studies program
- Advanced Bread Baking (ADVP-302) added as a new Advanced Concepts option
- Retail Bakery Operations (BPSE-340) added as a free elective for baking and pastry bachelor students
- Introduction to Statistics (MTSC-200) removed as a pre-requisite for Research Methods (LART-355)
- Changes to the BS in Hospitality Management degree:
- Additional Math courses now allowed to meet the Math requirement
- Globalization in Historic and Contemporary Contexts (LART-250) replaced with 3 credits of Free Electives
- Interpreting Literature (LITC-305) replaced with Literature and Composition (LITC-200)
- Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SOCS-175) replaced with the option of Psychology of Human Behavior (SOCS-110), Social Psychology (SOCS-115)
- Course name change for HSBV-404 from Advanced Wine Studies to Wines of the World
- Updated Tuition/Fee Schedules with Tuition Refund Plan
- Clarified attendance policy
