MFBS-562: Hospitality, Branding, and Marketing Strategies

This course will provide strategies for building exemplary hospitality practices for food industry businesses. The importance of hospitality to an overall business model and to the various stakeholders will be explored from the perspective of operations and as applied to marketing and branding. The course lectures and supplemental materials will guide learners in the development of relevant and sustainable food and beverage, restaurant, and food-based brand experiences that anticipate and fulfill the needs of today's consumers. Learners will develop a hospitality strategic plan, based on a business mission, vision, values, and goals and objectives. Students will delve into brand development, positioning, storytelling, and guest segmentation to construct a detailed marketing plan.
