Graduation Requirements

Offered in the May semester

Students enrolling in the program name major should work with their advisor to select the proper mix of courses that both meet the graduation requirements of the degree and align with their academic goals and career aspirations.  Students choose either the Culinary Arts focus or the Baking and Pastry Arts focus. The basic requirements follow.

Please note: Credits earned in the CIA’s AOS and AAS degree programs apply towards the requirements of this program.

 

  Culinary Arts Focus:  
  Culinary Arts Requirements (54 credits)  
  AND Liberal Arts Courses at the 100 and 200 Level (9 credits)  
  OR  
  Baking and Pastry Arts Focus:  
  Baking and Pastry Arts Requirements (55.5 credits)  
  AND Liberal Arts Courses at the 100 and 200 Level (7.5 credits) 63 credits
     
  Liberal Arts Requirements 24 credits
  Liberal Arts Elective 3 credits
  Business Managment Courses at the 100 and 200 Level 6 credits
  Applied Food Studies Requirements 9 credits
  Concentration Requirements 15 credits
